What are Chakras?
Chakras are points of energy in the body. There are 7 main centres of energy that regulates specific organs and glands and also houses our mental and emotional strengths.
The 7 chakras are represented by the different colors of the rainbow.
Colors are created by light and the vibration of energy. Everything in the universe is made of energy vibrating at different frequencies.

Root Chakra - The first Chakra is located at the base of the spine.
Represents our foundation, our physical body, our groundedness. Associated with survival, stability, safety, control, belonging (shelter, food, procreation, comfort).
When this chakra is open, we feel calm, safe and fearless.
Sacral Chakra - The second chakra is located in the area below the belly button, in the lower belly.
Represents our imagination, passion, pleasure, sexuality, the joys of life, basic emotions.
When this chakra is balanced, we are able to express deep feelings by being creative in arts, passionate, sexual.

It's our source of love and represents our capacity for love and compassion in all its forms.

When this chakra is open, we are aligned with the universe, we can see the bigger picture in life, we have a strong sense of our own inner truth, and we trust in our own intuition and let it guide us.

Crown Chakra - The seventh chakra is the highest chakra and is located outside the body, at the top of the head.
Represents enlightenment and spiritual connection with our higher selves.
When this chakra is open, we feel that life is worthwhile, a profound joy, fulfillment, gratitude. To open this chakra, all the other chakras should be balanced.
What Happens when the Chakras are not Balanced?
Root Chakra - We feel fearful, stuck, don't accept our body or are overly practical, lacking dreams, others.
Physically, we can have problems with bones, legs, colon, others.
Sacral Chakra - We can have difficulty in becoming emotionally and sexually intimate or we can be hyper emotional, overly sexual, others.
Physically, we can have problems with the reproductive system, urinary system, others.
Solar Plexus Chakra - We can have low self-esteem, feel like a victim in the world, powerless relative to other people or be very dominant and egocentric, others.

Heart Chakra - We can feel difficulty in accepting or giving love, afraid of commitment, lack of compassion, hold grudges, or have unhealthy relationships, believe in the need to please others to be loved, needy in relationships, others.

Throat Chakra - We can be afraid to speak up and say what we want or feel, lack of creativity, we go along with others to not upset anyone, frustration, or we can be manipulative, deceptive of self or/and others.
Physically, we can have problems with neck, throat, shoulders, thyroid, others.
Third Eye Chakra - We can have lack of vision, misuse of intuition or distorted vision, delusional, overly reliant on intellect and logic.
Physically, we can have problems with vision, headaches, nightmares, tension in the brown area, others.
Crown Chakra - We can feel unworthy of spiritual help, with a sense of meaninglessness, strongly attached to material possessions, achievements and defining ourselves according to them, others.
Physically, we can have headaches, migraines, mental illness, others.

How to Balance and Keep the Chakras Aligned?
