What is Color Psychology ?
Color is an expression of light, a form of communication, it has cultural, political and religious associations.
Color evokes emotions, stimulates our brain and influences our behaviors. We, all, have a favourite color. 
Color Psychology studies how it affects us.



Red
Positive: stimulates physically, raises the pulse rate, bold, strength, energy, power, passion, desire, intensity, confidence, excitement

Negative: defiance, aggression, strain, danger






Green
Positive: nature, growth, fertility, harmony, refreshment, stability, healing, reassurance, endurance, equilibrium, peace, calmness 

Negative: boredom, stagnation







Orange
Positive:  Stimulates physically and emotionally, energy, joy, enthusiasm, happiness, warmth, adventurous, abundance,  friendly, creative, fun, encourages socialization
Negative: deprivation, frustration, frivolity, immaturity




Brown
Positive: seriousness, warmth, nature, earthiness, reliability, support, stability, friendly, comfort, organic, strength

Negative: lack of humor, heaviness, lack of sophistication 





Yellow
Positive: Stimulates emotionally, lifts our mood, joy, energy, optimism, cheerful, self-esteem, extraversion, friendliness, creativity, complexity, fun

Negative: irrationality, fear, emotional fragility, depression, anxiety 






White
Positive: hygiene, clarity, purity, cleanliness, simplicity, sophistication, efficiency, calm, silence, perfection

Pink
Positive: Physically calming, tranquility, nurture, gentleness, femininity, love, romance, calmness, sensitivity

Positive: spiritual awareness, containment, vision, authenticity, truth, power, nobility, mystery, royal
