Are Free Radicals Bad or Good?
Free Radicals are produced by our body and they help to turn food into energy and to fight bacteria. 

The problem is the unbalance that happens in the body,  when a big quantity of Free radicals are produced, due to the exposition to:

  • Bad diet
  • Alcohol
  • Inflammation
  • Air pollutants
  • Radiation
  • Drugs

How to avoid the damage of the Free Radicals?

Antioxidants, like:
  • Beta-carotene and Carotenoids ( carrot, sweet potato, spinach, squash, red bell pepper, dried apricot, broccoli, pea, etc)


  • Vitamin E ( wheat germ oil, sunflower seeds, almond, hazelnut, pine nut, peanuts, avocado, mango, kiwi, spinach, etc)


  • Vitamin C ( guava, yellow bell pepper, chilli pepper, thyme, parsley, kiwi, kale, broccoli, strawberry, lemon, orange, papaya, etc)

  • Lutein ( kale, yellow sweet corn, spinach, green pea, brussel sprouts, pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot, etc)


  • Resveratrol ( grapes, peanut, pistachios, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, strawberry, blueberry, red currant, cranberry, mulberry, etc) 


  • Lycopene ( tomato, papaya, asparagus, watermelon, red cabbage, mango, carrot, guava, grapefruit, etc)
